Bailey Family Farm is a conventional row crop farming organization
Our rotation consist primarily of corn, soybeans, and wheat. We believe in responsible soil conditioning techniques and use the most up to date conventional tillage methods for optimal crop performance and soil maintenance.
At Bailey Family Farm we take a proactive approach to all aspects of our operation; weed control, spring and fall seeding, grain storage, or overall land and soil management. In order to stay ahead of the game we use some of the most advanced technology available to agriculture through our advanced seeding and harvesting systems as well as our record keeping, pesticide and fertilizer application. We keep close connections with market experts in addition to our 30 plus years of experience to capture the best market prices.
In order to grow as a farm we must become the best at what we do. We are engaged peer-to-peer roundtables, formal classroom learning, as well as on site testing for top crop and equipment performance in order to “sharpen the saw”.
At Bailey Family Farm we strive to be progressive with our technology as well as practices. Having acres throughout Clay, Richland, Marion, Wayne, Fayette, and Effingham county we hold a high demand for performance, precision, and efficiency with the equipment we use. Due to John Deere’s advance GPS technology and programming as well as outstanding performance and service our operation has for the most part developed into a “Green Farm”.
